Education Technologists (ET)

Enrich Teaching and Learning Through the Use of Technology

Seattle Public Schools assign one or two Education Technology Leaders (ETs) to each school to help staff effectively use classroom technology with students. ETs, who are teachers, librarians, or specialists, collaborate with building leadership and district Digital Learning Specialists.

In the 2024-2025 school year, ETs will guide teachers on using digital tools to create challenging, culturally appropriate, inclusive learning environments. These tools allow students to share their voices and experiences, which helps build their confidence and improve their learning outcomes. Throughout the year ETs will receive training in district approved technology tools like Apple Classroom, GoGuardian, Seesaw, Schoology, Microsoft 365, Magic School AI and more.
